*Classes open to all, but since Weylands is a private venue, please contact me for details
Classes are 90 minutes long, and with the exception of beginners’ courses, are run on a drop-in basis. Most classes are small (fewer than ten students), allowing for personal attention and instruction.
I work to a structured format, which gives students the security of knowing what to expect. However it’s flexible enough to allow for variation, for example the exploration of themes and sequencing of postures.
what to bring
Wear comfortable clothing, something you can easily stretch and bend in. Also gear to keep you warm during relaxation—sweater, socks, even a blanket if you like.
I do supply mats, although you’re welcome to use your own.
I do not supply or use blocks or belts, but don’t mind at all if you bring yours.
The same goes for water bottles.
Please try to arrive a few minutes early to allow for a prompt start.
Please respect the fact that many yogis like to relax in silence before a class.
Regular workshops are held weekly, on Saturday afternoons at the Holistic Centre, Godalming, 2-4pm. All sessions cost £15.
These are designed to supplement regular classes and usually explore advanced asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing), and meditation.
Meditation and Partner Yoga workshops for the summer will appear here soon.
Please contact me if you have an
interest in attending either.
If you are new to yoga, feel free to drop in to any of my classes, but please contact me in advance so that I can bring you up to speed.
However, I do offer the option of arranging a couple of one-to-one sessions at your convenience, where you will learn enough of the basics to be comfortable in an open class.
